Amish furniture brokerage
Custom furniture, built by hand.
This furniture is offered by Joshua Deatherage Home Emporium LLC. Joshua has spent more than thirty years in the construction trades. Along the way he built lasting relationships with Amish craftsmen and their families. Today he serves as a furniture broker for those shops.
What you can order
A table, chairs, a cabinet, or a whole room. These pieces are not made to be replaced in a few years. They are made to last for generations.
Tables
Dining and kitchen tables, sized to the room and the people who sit at them.
Chairs
Matching chairs, built by hand, finished to sit with the table for decades.
Cabinets
Hutches, wardrobes, and storage pieces in solid wood, not a short-lived finish.
A whole room
One shop, one look — furniture planned together so the room belongs to itself.
Built to order
Furniture catalog
53 pieces, each shown in a different finish. Red oak, white oak, maple, cherry, and walnut. Stain or paint to match the room. Allow 8–12 weeks after the sample.

How a piece gets made
- You describe the piece, the room, and the wood you have in mind.
- Joshua matches the request with a shop he has worked with for years.
- The woodworkers build it by hand.
- You get a piece meant to stay in the family.
Who you are working with
Joshua Deatherage is the broker. He connects people who want honest, custom-made furniture with the woodworkers who still build it the right way.
Home Emporium is not a factory showroom. Each order is placed with a shop, not pulled from a warehouse.
